Learn@Lunch Cancelled for October
Posted by Jackz in Learn@Lunch updates on October 23, 2009
I regret to inform you that I must cancel the Learn @ Lunch on Monday. I have student presentations that must be completed (I had tried to get them done but due to technical difficulties need to finish them on Monday). Students must come first.
I apologize for the late notice – I did attempt to find a guest speaker to cover, but was unable to find one.
Again, I am very sorry for having to cancel, but promise to make the next session even better!!
I did get the other presentations uploaded to the website – the link to that new download page is right up top. All five previous presentations are there for your viewing pleasure.

New Season of Learn@Lunch
Posted by Jackz in Learn@Lunch updates on September 28, 2009
Welcome to a new season of Learn@Lunch!
I am excited about this year – I believe this will the year the Community Engagement Site network will really begin to fill the role it was designed for. As we bring on the new sites we will start to achieve the critical mass necessary to support the type of activities that the technology is capable of delivering.
Learn@Lunch is still growing and learning about what the best way to serve our viewers. We want to continue to bring content that the business community is looking for – and we want to improve on our communication with all parties. We need to build relationships – not simply send out one-way communication.
The first Learn@Lunch is on September 28 dealing with the very important topic of communication.
And our October topic will be conflict in the workplace.
